Skylar is so girly and when planning her 5th birthday with her, she said she wanted a pretty ballerina birthday party. I was a little nervous that day because the weather called for rain, but luck was on my side and we were able to throw the party as planned. I must say, the day was a success! Skylar was dancing and twirling with her friends. There were tutu’s, pink, flowers and sweets galore! We had an adorable jumper draped in pink and white balloons. And a ballerina stopped by to give the girls some lessons on ballet.

Can we take a moment and appreciate these roses and peonies found at Trader Joe’s. The girl who rang them up talked about how pretty they were and put them in this cute box. I had to snap a picture of it!

Any party we throw, I always like to give each child something special to take home as a thanks for coming. Each child received their own tutu, tiara and ribbon wand.

Skylar would not let the cupcake go for this picture. Ha! Wow, I can’t believe she’s 5 – time truly does fly! I’m glad everything turned out perfectly for her pretty ballerina birthday party! Thanks for stopping by!
